I am back home again. Sorry I wasn't able to post for awhile. I have been with my mother as she had another back surgery. She had surgery for another broken vertebrae. It was an outpatient surgery. She did well. She has had so many surgeries....I think the count is 12 now in about 8 years. Not all on her back though. She wasn't too happy about my leaving to come home. I wish that she would move closer to either me or my brother.
This is another picture of our downtown. You should have seen it last night. We have lots and lots of snow. It was also very cold out. Last night was our Christmas Candlelight Walking tour. The town was so crowded all night long. Stands for apple fritters, kettle corn and hot chocolate lined the sidewalks. Horse carriage rides and Santa and Mrs. Claus and the churches and businesses were open to greet people. We actually went to our seven year old's first basketball game of the season and then out to eat at a restaurant in town called Snapshots. We came home to watch OSU.......a sad ending to their season. I went to bed early as I was exhausted .
Our two grandchildren are here for the day because both their Mom and Dad are working today. So glad to be back in the Christmas craziness.

Welcome home Debby, sorry about your mom's surgery. I wish her quick recovery.
That sounds like a great downtown celebration. The trees are so pretty all lit up. The kids should be excited about the snow.
Take care , hugs,
JB
Sorry to here abt your Mom!
I hope your mother recuperates nicely now. And the Candlelight Walk sounds wonderful! I wish there were things like that in Nashville.
Continued prayers for mother's recovery. It sounds like your downtown celebration was a much needed activity. Christmas hugs!
Oh, what a fun celebration! The Candlelight walk sounds like something from a movie set! I'd love to be part of a town that has so many wonderful holiday happenings!
You seem to live in such a pretty idyllic place. Sorry about your Mom's surgeries. I had back surgery once at 30. Not fun.

Hi Debby, my blood work is great all except my potassium is a bit low and that makes me get tired easier, that and not enough sleep.
Hugs,
JB
Oh Debby- your downtown is so pretty!
I wanted to go to our Christmas parade this year but it was 2 degrees! No thanks! ♥
I know that you are glad to be home, Debby, but it is difficult to leave our parents when they need us. Hope you mom heals quickly. Enjoy those grandchildren. xo Laura
Your town is beautiful with all the pretty lights. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Take care of yourself and get some rest when you can! Sweet hugs!
What a sweet downtown area you have... The Christmas trees are lovely! Hoping your mom is on the mend!
So glad to know you are home and that Mom is OK. I know she was upset to see you leave. Hope the surgery was successful. We did not get much snow here...just LOTS of ice...so cold. The sump pump died under my big bathroom, and in the middle of all of the messy wet weather Bud was out with buckets. We have a new one in now, and it appears to be working. Try to rest a bit...hahahaha...I know that is an impossible request. Love you...genie
Debby, your town looks like a movie set. I bet it's even prettier with the snow! Hope Mom is on the mend. You are so blessed to have her and she you! xxoo Penny
Your downtown looks so pretty. I remember when I was a child, we used to go out caroling in different neighborhoods and downtown. It was really nice. So glad to hear that your mom is doing better. Stay warm, my friend. Hugs, Edna B.
