I am usually in Colorado on Spring Break so this was my first time.
This is what my home looks like right now. This bush is a pet peeve for my husband. He whacks it every year and it just comes back. Once my daughter and I were having a garage sale. About 2:30 in the afternoon a deer walked out of it. He must have slept through the whole sale under that bush. My daughter about had a heart attack.
Linda at LBP Sews had my name in a Spring swap. She sent me this cute little chick and all of the things in the next picture. It was so much fun opening the big box. It was non-stop. Now, she the one you want to swap with.
To the left. the purple sign is on slate. She made that cute green heart with a bunny on it......and the pink egg shaped decoration on the right. It's so cute. She also made a spin head doll......I hope that's what they are called. Candy, bunny, cupcake liners, napkins, enough bunny stitckers for a project, seeds, two little baskets. See the carrots. They are so tiny and so cute. They look like ornaments. I thought about making a banner with them. Thank you.
Okay, that's it for today.
Mr. Cozy is feeling so much better.
Piper said thanks for all the comments. He is a cutie but I like his hair longer. He is such a sweet dog.
Spring break baby. I know I have Tanner one day but not sure about the others. Hoping for several days off.
Have a good week-end.

Wow- What a GREAT box of goodies! WOW! I love the bush in front...even if your hubby doesn't. If it can hide a deer for a day just think of what else might be in there-or maybe DON'T think about that! Your class sounds like fun! Hope you have a great weekend. xo Diana
That is a funny story about the deer! It must have been nice and cozy under that bush. I love swaps...I never hear of any. Let me know if you hear of another one.
I love the deer in the forsythia story.
DEBBY, I HOPE YOU HAVE A FUN ENJOYABLE WEEKEND. LOVE THAT BEAUTIFUL YELLOW BUSH. THE MR. IS DOINGA FINE JOB TRIMMING IT :):) SMILES TO YOU, SUSIE
Did you find out about Piper's weight yet?
That owl project looks fun I always like doing stuff like that too in a group. That bush looks like Scotch Broom which we grew in CA. It can actually be quite a take over type plant but very pretty I'd say and better than nothing at all there. Glad to hear Mr. Cozy is better. Take Care Nan
Glad to hear the Mr. is better that was some bug! What a great swap partner and goodies :) My mom had 3 forsythia bushes and my dad cursed them every spring, I think of him every time I see one, I love them. Hope you have a good wkend. E
How funny about the deer coming out of the bush..I'm still laughing at the mental image of that!...Have a great weekend. xo
Hi Debby, I would love to have a forsythia bush like yours. Every spring I say I should plant one, and after spring I always forget! Stampin Up? I kept one gal in business with all my orders, just love stamps! Have a great weekend. Love, Penny
Forsythia's remind me of mom as we had a big one when I was growing up and mom loved it. I vaguely remember her cutting branches and bringing them inside for color in the house. My daughter is going to clear me out of most of my scrapbook stuff I think. I haven't been serious about it for years and her and a friend are wanting to get into it. Glad someone will be using it.
Awesome box of the best things.
Love that bush....and I,too, would have had a heart attack when the deer came out..I am a titty baby. :))
That is one massive forsythia. We have a few at our house, but they are right by the front sidewalk and we have to keep them trimmed down short. I like forsythia that can just be themselves.
Boy, Debby, you really scored in this swap! I love your items! We have some forsythia "bushes", or a better term is jungle, that are quite overgrown - I wonder what we have living in them?
I love that cute owl! How creative! Great box of fun, too! Enjoy your week! ♥
Good golly, Miss Molly. YOu really did hit the jackpot on this swap. I know you were tickled to death. The next time one comes along you must let me know. Since I never post to “Buttons” I do not know about the swaps out there. That photo of dad and daughter is just so cute....a real keeper. All is well....45 more days. Just came back form 4 days in Asheville with Weezie. The kids are moving her out of the house and to WI where she will live with her daughter. It is so sad that she need 24 hour care - SHE HATES IT!!!! Take care. genie
My daughter will have a fit over that owl. I can't wait to show her.
