Breast Cancer Fund Raiser/Days at Buttermilk Cottage.

Susan at "Days at Buttermilk Cottage" is having a fundrasier for breast cancer awareness. Hop on over there to see her sweet little lamb and here about what she is doing to raise awareness. Check out how you can win one of these sweet lambs. We are all aware of the importance in finding a cure for this kind of cancer and other kinds as well.

Thanks, my friends.

Weekend Fun

On Friday I went to the French Hen Barn Sale. Look who I found there.....Sue of Sullivan and Murphy and Linda the host. Check out those cameras. Can you tell they are bloggers, hah. See that big white thing over the door. Someone bought that. Linda's husband had to get a big ole ladder to get it down. It was huge. How that lady ever got that in her car....... Lots of goodies there and such a beautiful day.

Pumpkins and parking.

It is hard to take pictures when so many people are shopping but I had to take pictures of the chandy's. Isn't this a beautiful barn.

After the sale, I met my Mom in Marysville for a little birthday celebration.

I bet you think I bought this at the sale........
A little random photo here. Remember when I said what I bought at the Country Living Fair was still in my trunk......not anymore. Mr. Cozy hung it for me. I love it above the door. Don't know why those walls look purple....they are the color of a Wendy's frosty and the name of the paint is COZY BLANKET.

On Saturday we met my son and his girlies for breakfast. Then the girlies went home with us while Mom and Dad ran an errand. I had taken out the car seats for the sale. I bought a cute little chair there. So when we put car seats back in the chair had to come out. My son put the chair in his car. Only so many people fit in a VW
Bug. While we were transfering, Goose sat down on the chair in the
Bob Evans Parking lot.

They played and played. Then had a little lunch. This picture is for "Nana Takes a Break". Does Goose look like your Sweet Cheeks here. She is saying, "Grammy why are you picturing us."

Then we had a little Gluten Free birthday cake that my Mom had made for me. It was yummy.

Then some quiet time. K. Bug rearranged the house. Goose took some time out to read. Love how her feet are in the basket.

And just a little bit to catch you up. Yes, I am still having headaches. I had a mini scan the other day and it was okay. Our insurance didn't approve the CAT scan with contrast, so they had the same test I already had done . I guess it still is a good thing that it was normal.

Now for Izzy.....another appointment today.....no change. Every time I go, I get another doctor and another plan. This doctor wants her to loose three pounds. I couldn't get it across to her (the vet) that it isn't the weight that has her belly all swollen. She said that her liver is still enlarged and she thinks there is alot of air in her belly since she has a hard time breathing. Some of the same meds given again. I will try to cut way back on her food and see how it goes but I am thinking we need to find someone else to take a look at her. She doesn't look very happy about being told she has to diet. She hid way back under my chair while we were at the vets today.......not a happy camper at all.

So that's it folks. Wanted to say thanks for all the birthday wishes. You are all so sweet.

Today is my birthday.
And I get to spend it with these cute little girls. The weather is beautiful and it's a good day. I think I should have a giveaway, don't you?
Not sure what it will be but as soon as I figure it out, I will post it. Ihave all month, right? I can celebrate my birthday all month, that's the rule, I'm sure.

Check out K. Bug's fingers. I think Goose thinks they are silly. This was last week at the Pumpkin Patch. The cake is from Sweet E. from Creative Breathing. She gave me this special cake when we met this summer.

Off to have some fun.

Blinding sunset

This picture was taken on the last day of summer. I was driving and on headache medication......I know what was I thinking........and the sun was blinding. It looked like lava. I wasn't sure that it wasn't a fire. The trees would keep covering the sun. I have never seen a sunset that looked like a blaze of fire. There were planes landing into this sun. Have you seen anything like this?
We haven't had alot of sun here lately. Some dark, cool and rainy days. It's fall for sure. The sun is trying to come out here this morning. I think the park is calling our name today.
Have a sunshiney day.

South Hampton Wedding

Two of my grandchildren traveled from Colorado to the Hamptoms to be in their cousin's wedding. Snow White was the flower girl and
Baby Q. the ring bearer. Can you tell he doesn't like to be held by his sister. (Notice the peer is destroyed from the recent hurricane.)

Of course they had to spend time at the beach. Their Daddy grew up here and they also have the love of the ocean just like him. This was just last week-end.
Brrrr, it has to be cold there today.

I think
Baby Q. found something. Hope he didn't try to eat it.

There are more pictures but I had trouble finding them after I downloaded them. So they may appear in another post, or not.

Super tired today. We moved our youngest into another apartment today. I didn't do the physical stuff but all the transferring of everything. I took my granddaughters to the pumpkin patch todayl 3 hours in 52 degree fall weather. Ironically my son's new place is in the Pumpkin Patch Apartments. It used to be a pumpkin patch.

Have a great Sunday.

Grammy Gone Wild

This is a post that you weren't expecting, hah. The day started out with the following picture. It was my firend, Luanne's birthday so we went out for Mexican food. I gave her this gift in the car.

I gave her this "Into the Wild" lotion. In case you can't read the card it says, Looking forward to many more WILD adventures. This was because of the car accident we were in last year together.

We went to the Heritage
Antique Mall in Pickerington/Reynoldburg area. I loved this little yellow chair.

Loved these doors and this white chair. The chair was $120, seriously.

Loved this flamingo colored door with the cross on it. I didn't pull my camera out til we were leaving. I wish I had gotten pictures of Motley Junk, the space by Polly and Keeley. Loved the little kitchen set below. Looks like it came right out of a little diner.

When we walked out this big RV was sitting there. There is a bar next door to the antique mall. They had just pulled up. So Luanne and I decided to try out. They didn't pick us. We were so shocked. Okay, no we really didn't try out, but I bet you guessed that already.

So that's about as wild as my adventures get. Pretty boring, I know, I know.

P.S.
Anabelle, the little China Girl, I watch told me she has on magic socks today. They are magic because they have pissy dust on them and her daddy bought the pissy dust in
New York. Kinda goes with my wild post, doesn't it.

Welcome to Cozy Time

My dear blogging friends I have decided to start something new on my blog. When you see this word COZY it will be to introduce you to a COZY friend of mine. I am so excited for you to visit and meet my new COZY friend Angie of Hillsboro, Ohio. Yeah, she is a Buckeye. Her blog is at http://becauseidontwanttoforget.blogspot.com/ . The following picture is one Angie posted this week. Don't you love the name of her blog.
Blogging to remember those precious moments. She is a mama to some sweet little people. They are so cute. You know how I am about little ones. I don't even know how I found her, or maybe she found me. So you COZY followers go over and tell Angie hi and follow her if you'd like. I am so glad that I found her. I know you will be too.
