Blinding sunset

This picture was taken on the last day of summer. I was driving and on headache medication......I know what was I thinking........and the sun was blinding. It looked like lava. I wasn't sure that it wasn't a fire. The trees would keep covering the sun. I have never seen a sunset that looked like a blaze of fire. There were planes landing into this sun. Have you seen anything like this?
We haven't had alot of sun here lately. Some dark, cool and rainy days. It's fall for sure. The sun is trying to come out here this morning. I think the park is calling our name today.
Have a sunshiney day.

Debby in the winter here the sun is at this angle but not quite so intense. It's low like the setting sun right in your eyes all winter. Interesting huh.

Wow, that is something. It really looks like there could be a fire. It's pretty amazing though.

Hi Debby, what a great picture. I hope that you had some good sunglasses to drive in that blinding sun. I hope that you could enjoy that sun all day.

By the way Debby, you still can enter my giveaway if you can use the wool for other project like someone mentioned. Thanks for your comment on my blog. JB

Oh Debby! The new baby!!!!! How very sweet. And speaking of sweet, OMG the little yellow locks on your wedding goer.
Isn't it amazing the sun in the sky here in Ohio. Sometimes I can't believe that it takes the entire field of vision to see it all.
So glad to visit all your happenings! Lots of fun here! E
