peaking of the weather. I am somewhere under it. Swollen glands and sore throat. It is my time of year when I usually get something. Trying to not let it hold me back but it is. Blood tests were okay but I don't think they did the thyroid or CBC. That's what I needed to see. There is a doll auction tomorrow, so we will see if I bounce back in time. My doll friend is in Germany visiting her daughter so she won't be there. She is going to being me something back from the flea market. Exciting.
There is so much sadness right now. Family and friends fighting cancer. Close friends loosing their parents. I will try to post three things that make me happy for this month of hearts.
See that bit of sunshine. It is only 30 out but the sunshine is nice.
New visitors today. The other day there was a blue heron. The faithful couple of ducks have been in and out since the pond thawed a little. These geese honked so loud when I went out with the dogs. I think they were telling us to keep their distance.
I won a little auction on the Shirley facebook page. It was this robe. Someone had given the administrator 6 of these robes. That she in turn had a drawing for. And I was one of the lucky ones. I guess the person that donated them used to work in a Shirley Temple doll hospital. They would send the "well" Shirleys back in these robes. I think this robe looks perfect on my 50's vinyl doll that already has bed head. These are my favorite shirleys because they look the most like her.
Well that's it for today. I had to get the beast out for this post. The beast that I dropped on my feet. I can't figure out how to post pictures from my mini I pad.

Sorry, I was unable to correct my errors.
You have such wonderful views from your new home! You seem very settled in there. I love the bathrobe - just perfect for the little lady. I remember what snow looks like, but really am not missing it at all! We had temps in the 60's yesterday in Northern Ohio. I am planning a baby shower for my daughter on March 20 so I am thinking that will be blizzard day, my luck.
I was so pleased to see your name up there on my post! I am fine..just fine. Thank you for asking. I hope you are staying warm and toasty. You sound good. I am happy..getting old fast but happy.
Sending you a hug..and thanks for not forgetting me. I have been such a bad blogger friend..

Cute picture of your grandkids. Lots of snow there! We had a couple of inches today. I'm ready for spring, very ready. Lovely gift you received. The best part of my day is putting my robe on at night. Ha ha! It's really cute. Congratulations on your win.
Blessings, Betsy
Congratulations on your win. It's always fun to win something. I'm sorry about your sore throat and glands, I hope you get well soon. Oh my, what a pretty view of the pond with the Canada Geese on the water. Those birds are huge when close.
Take care and heal fast. We're getting that sticky snow today.
Hugs,
JB
The little robe is lovely and looks good on your doll. I've been under the weather lately too. Just can't seem to get through a winter anymore without getting sick. I would love to be able to look out and see birds and geese on water.
Get well soon, and have a super day. Hugs, Edna B.
Your little Shirley is adorable! My grands are in CO, too - and boy do they ever love all that snow!~ It just looks COLD to me! I hope you are on the mend and feel better soon. Blessings!
O Debby , I hate to read that you are under the weather I will keep you in my prayers ! I love how your dolly looks in her new robe ! I don't care much for winter but do wish Ohio could get at least one substantial snow , so that my lil Princess could play in it . Rest up and get well ~ hugs Angela
The little doll robe you won is so cute, Debby. We've had a lot of snow here in NE Oregon this year. It warmed up quite a bit today -- around 40 degrees -- so the snow is melting. I don't mind the snow, but we've had rain that then freezes over the snow and that's dangerous. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great week! Nancy
