Bad Grampy/Mommy

We had Little O all day yesterday.  She goes to Montessori Day Care (Where I worked for years) since her real mommy is working day shift.  She kept calling Grampy, Mommy all day.  It was so funny.  He had to go run some errands yesterday and she really wanted to go with him.  She already had her coat on because she gets really upset when you take it off.  I think it has something to do with going to day care.  Grampy had a bag of trash in his other hand.  Yes, there is stuff all over the counter and probably every other surface in the house.  As you know from before, nothing stays in place when Little O visits.  She still is a non-stop dog chasing little girl.  We were exhausted when her real mom came to get her.  We had to redecorate the house when she left.   Here is another shot of her with no coat.  Do you see that look.  That's what she does when you tell her no.  The white headband is on because I wear headbands.  Good thing she is so cute.

Mabel spent the night with us the day before Thanksgiving.  Her parents were busy downtown with the Turkey Run early Thanksgiving Day.  I had these nails for awhile so I fixed up her nails.  Cute but a little long.  I wonder how long they stayed on.  They aren't like the Jamberry nail wraps.  Those are really awesome.
This little girl loves coming here because we aren't strict about what she eats.  She was mad at Grampy because he ate all of our treats and she wrote him a note saying he was a "Bad Grampy."

Mabel wouldn't let me take a picture.  What's up with that.  Her brother is really bad about that too.  So here she is being very silly.

After Mabel and her family left we went to another son's house for turkey dinner.  My DIL is a vegetarian and my son and I have Celiac.  Then when there girls only eat, noodles....box style.....and corn, it ends up being quite the feast, lol.  One of the girls ate a roll.  When her mom put butter on it she turned up her nose.  They are now 8 and 11.  They don't eat bread or pizza either.  Grampy is the only normal one of us there.

These girls like to pose.  Goose and K Bug.  They are getting so tall.  But they are also both pretty small considering their ages.

So that was our Thanksgiving.  Pretty quiet but fun to spend time with family.  Mabel and her family went to their aunt's for dinner.  Today we are watching the OSU/Michigan game.  It can get a little loud here.
I am headed to paint some peg dolls.  Hoping that you are all having a good week-end.  It will soon be December 1st and the days are going to fly til the end of the year.  I remember how stressful the first week of December was.  I try to avoid that kind of stress.  Hope you can as well.  (((((HUGS))))

Turkey coma.....................and they didn't even eat any, hah.

Sweet pictures :), thanksgiving sounds fun. I have just bought my turkey for Christmas. My daughter is a vegetarian and we have one with Celiac disease and one with intolerance so it takes a little planning :). Hope you and your husband have a lovely Sunday and can rest until the little whirlwinds next come to visit. Blessings, Pam xx

Your photos are wonderful. When my kids were very small, they would not eat candy, or any cake that had frosting on it. Of course, that all changed when they got older.

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving day here at home with the dwarfs and kitties and Pogo. My kids either stopped in for a while or called. (some live in other states) I'm glad you had such an enjoyable day too.

Have a wonderful evening, hugs, Edna B.
