My Christmas Ladder/Swaps and Gifts/ Kitchen Shelf
| Blogger switched my photo. Silly Blogger. |
| My kitchen shelf. I left the originals there and just added the manager and a couple angels. |
There are so many out there that are really sick and need prayers. Please add Karen and Gene to your list. They are battling cancer in a very serious way.
Okay, over and out of here.

My babies/Cup of Kindness Swap Goodies
This is my pound puppy Piper. He is a boy with a girlie name. I edited this picture........not very good at editing, hah. It captures his sweetness. He mothers our little Yorkie, Izzy. Usually it is Piper on this couch. He roots around, knocks the cushions off and ends up under them somehow. Usually all we can see is a nose or a paw. Now here is "The Princess and the Pea". (Love that story, don't you?) Here is Izzy on top of a big quilt and a pillow or two. They are so funny together. Izzy bosses Piper. He licks her ears and worries about her when she is outside. Izzy is on a restricted diet........She gobbles down her 1/4 cup of food while Piper can eat all he wants. (He is only 26 pounds, small for a Springer Spaniel. So he will take a piece of his food and drop it on the floor for her to eat. Izzy is 8 years old and Piper is 3. Izzy was a Christmas gift from my BFF that recently moved to Florida. She had the Izzy's mommy and daddy. And Piper was from the pound. His story is a magical one that I have posted about before. Love these babies.

My favorite thing
I love decorating in my antique wagon. I usually have several trees in the wagon. This year I put these bears and the owl and one tree. I decided not to change it. The one big bear has woodland animals on its' hood. Once again this was my cousins' bear. I tried to edit my photo. I couldn't get the snow to melt away. I love how the bears are looking at the tree. Yes, I know they aren't real. Well, maybe in my world they are.
Have a magical season.

Consider no flame candles/I have been corrected
I can never tell what order my pictures will show up. On my last post I spent a long time rearranging, but on this one I will just change the story a bit. This little stinker.......I babysat for his family two days this week and then yesterday his whole family and my granddaughters and I went to see Santa for breakfast. Believe me, there will be more pictures of that in the next post. He made a frame. When I asked him to hold it up he did this. He is so funny. I was talking to him the day before and I said I pod. He said, No Nanny it's an I pad. Geez a two year old knows more about technology that I do, hah.
Our house is older and doesn't have an outlet in the front of the house. I buy the votive battery lights and place them in the windows. I replace them when they burn out. The light isn't very bright but you can still see that the house is lit up. I really wish we had lights on the house. Running extension cords are dangerous as they cross the sidewalk into the house. They also make pillar battery operated lights. So be safe this year and use flame less candles.
