Making a pumpkin fairy house

Gather your supplies.  I cheated, hah, I bought a kit at the Country Living Fair.  It had all of this included but not the pumpkin.  You could use a real one.......I thought that would be messy.  They also suggested one of the fake rubbery ones.  I could see me loosing some fingers trying to cut it out.  In the kit there was some moss (I think it is called something else), a spray of fall, a wooden chair, a bat and a mouse and I added the witch's hat.  I took the spray apart and put it in different places instead of all together.
I chose this pumpkin because I could get the decorations inside by opening the slats more.  I liked that it looked wooden.  I am going to add a battery light as well.

Here it is with some other decorations.  It doesn't photograph very well but it is really cute.  You can get the pumpkin at Hobby Lobby. All other things at a garden center.  So there you go, Happy Halloween Fairy House.

Cute idea Debby. The open pumpkin makes the stuff in the house easier to see.

Hi Debby, Great to see you up and running again. Funny how we got along without all this technology for all those years and now we are lost without it! Your fairy pumpkin garden is such a sweet idea. I think you made a great decision using that pumpkin... Hey, I have all my little garden stuff and a grapevine pumpkin.... Inspiring me again! Take care my friend...Do you have our rain today?
