And now for God's Paintbrush. He has been busy coloring our world.
This critter was on my mailbox. He's not a bat but he is upside down, or is he? Look at those feelers.......there are some inside the mailbox. Anyone know what kind of caterpillar he is? I hope fall is beautiful where you live. Kelle on the blog Enjoying the small things www.kellehampton.com lives in Florida. Her sister sends a giant box of colorful leaves to her every fall. Her kids then get to play in the leaves. Is that not the cutest idea ever. I am going to do that sometime.
On my way to go watch over my granddaughters last night I drove through the college and thru a wooded area. I had to remind myself to breathe as I went through those beautiful trees. Wow.......this kind of beauty is outstanding. Speaking of outstanding, I hope your week has been outstanding.

God is on a cross country painting spree...We also have those beautiful colors everywhere.
Have fun with those grandkids! xo
Bats creep me out! I loved the box of leaves idea too. I thought to do it for quinn and madden.
I'm not a lover of bats because they creep me out but my nephew is. He has books about bats and he even buried a little bat he found dead in a little box in his mother's flower bed and put a little cross as marker. This was a few years ago.
Yellow caterpillars in your mail box. How beautiful. I never heard of such a thing. All I know about these beautiful creatures is that they emit a poison from the spiny hair that causes irritations to the flesh when touch. I'm not sure if those yellow caterpillars have this defence too.
There are always lots of leaves but to mulch but I would have never thought of sending some as gift. Brilliant. JB

Bats are too scary for me. Love your fall leaf photos. Ours are fallen.
I love all the color this time of the year. I will pass on the bats though, yikes! Cover your head!!!
Beautiful pictures of the leaves. What a good idea about sending leaves to Florida. I might just send my father-in-law a couple of leaves.
Fall is definitely at your house. The colors are so pretty. I think of you all the time. Things have been rough on the creek . The back and work are no longer blending well.My laptop got ill again and I have had to wait for Gene to come here to fix it. Her also brought me a new chair so I can sit and work at the iMac. Lost all pictures from my laptop. Hope you are well. Loving looking at your pictures after so long. genie
Beautiful pictures!
Hi Debby,
Your fall photos are breathtaking! I especially love the second one of the house (barn?) nestled in the lush foliage of rusty oranges and deep plums. Missing Canada right about now, but your pics 'picked' me up!
Have a great weekend!
