Consider no flame candles/I have been corrected

I can never tell what order my pictures will show up.  On my last post I spent a long time rearranging, but on this one I will just change the story a bit.  This little stinker.......I babysat for his family two days this week and then yesterday his whole family and my granddaughters and I went to see Santa for breakfast.  Believe me, there will be more pictures of that in the next post.  He made a frame.  When I asked him to hold it up he did this.  He is so funny.  I was talking to him the day before and I said I pod.  He said, No Nanny it's an I pad.  Geez a two year old knows more about technology that I do, hah.

Now about the candles.  Instead of taking a chance with real candles if you have luck like me, consider the non-flame option.  These two pictures are pictures of Scentsy warmers.  One is a plug in and the other is electric.  No smoke, no flame just amazing scents.  My blogging friend Kim   http://kimberly-kimberlyskorner@blogspot.com/    sells Scensy.  You can order from her and the order will be sent directly to you.
I just added these two pictures from Doodle's house with how cute the red berries look with a little red tea light.
This is a plug in warmer by Scentsy.

Our house is older and doesn't have an outlet in the front of the house.  I buy the votive battery lights and place them in the windows.  I replace them when they burn out.  The light isn't very bright but you can still see that the house is lit up.  I really wish we had lights on the house.  Running extension cords are dangerous as they cross the sidewalk into the house.  They also make pillar battery operated lights.  So be safe this year and use flame less candles.

Sorry, Google won't let me post the rest of this post. I will try again later so you can have a link to Kim's blog.

I know what you mean about the kids having more knowledge about technology than we do.

Blogger is a hard stinker to figure out some time. Hope that you get it figured out.

My pictures disappeared from my screen the other day but they were still there hidden when I started to click on some thing and they came back. I had them all uploaded on my dashboard but when I wet to download them on my blog, they were no where to be seen.

Have a great week Debby.

What a cute kiddie! They learn fast!

I have been pricing flameless candles. The more realistic they look, the more expensive they are. I may pick up a few for my mantel but otherwise I love the Christmas scents Yankee has. Sorry about your post...that would make me scream! lol!

XO,
Jane

I use mostly flameless candles myself but not too much scents. They make me sneeze.

Not to push the big box, but our Canadian Costco has amazing chunky pillar candles, in a warm vanilla scent, they have a 5 hour timer, I LOVE them. NO FLAMES!

Hope that you can find some at your costco.

Hi Debby, I would love to have candles, but the scents make it hard for me to breathe. I didn't have a problem until late in life when I started having allergies. It is heck to get old. Your little one is such a cutie and they do know more then we do about computers, but I wish they would teach them the basics. My change was all in dimes because they didn't know how to count change back to you. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.

Wow, I just read your scary story in the previous post, Debby! My snuffer will now be on hand to put out my candles. I do love scented candles, especially at Christmas time.

Your little one is precious. He looks like he's having fun. I don't use real candles because mostly of the scents. They bother my allergies. Plus, several years ago, I had a garland fall and land on a candle. Scared me to death. So, I use the artificial ones,

Judy

Hi Debby! Thanks for visiting my blog! I couldn't agree more with flameless candles. Burning the real ones makes me a nervous wreck, although I still use them to make the house smell good. I am going to have to try the Scentsy.

Great idea for candles. Thanks for the link. It is amazing how much more the wee ones know about technology than we do. They learn so much so young now days it seems. Hugs
