Don't be scared

I see Halloween decorations going up.  I will wait til October gets here, how about you?
Have you guessed what these are?  They are BATS.  Very big BATS.  They are from
Asia and can be seen at the Columbus (Ohio) zoo.  My oldest granddaughter loves these bats. Spooky
aren't they.  Check out the ones that are all wrapped up.  They amaze me.  They are a little
stinky.....at least in 90 degree weather.
CHRISTMAS SWAP.......I hope I didn't scare you off in my last post.  on This Art Makes Me Happy by Vicki, check out what she did with her jars.  I love it.  So jars can be fun.  I love putting pretty buttons in mine.  Come on, you know you want to sign up.
Hope you are having a fun week.   (((((HUGS))))

Those look so strange and creepy. I am trying to find something nice to say....but at the moment I can't think of anything, Oh yes I did...they eat bugs and a bunch of them so they are very helpful.

I love bats, I hope that doesn't make me wierd. I always root for the underdog, and most people dislike bats. Anyway, I like those exotic ones you pictured!

Those are real?! Eeeks! I would so not be comfortable even looking at them through a cage!

I do like Halloween though! I just decorated my house last night with a bunch of happy looking ghosts and jack-o-lanterns. :)

Those are a bit too big for my bat house. In fact, it is hard to believe that bats actually grow this big. I keep looking but cannot tell if ours are going in there or not. At least they have not started flying about in the house, yet. We always get a few each year.

Hugs,
Genie

My goodness those are some very large bats! I am already getting my halloween stuff up, my rule is that as soon as I see leaves changing I go for it.
