Cozy Time

Thankful to have a place to be COZY. I feel so bad for those affected by the destructive tornados yesterday. We were under watches all day but only got rain and lots of wind. Praying for those that lost their homes and family members.
...................I tried to see how a quilt would look covering the white couch. It looks okay, but doesn't stay in place. Notice Brenda's (Cozy Little House) pillow on the couch. Also one of my plates fell and crashed. I need to get that replaced and others put up. I have a small stack of the little butter plates.

Well Brenda's pillow was quite the hit this week. Piper loves it......Izzy doesn't careas she likes the top bunk.
As soon as O and A walked in the door they saw that quilt and pillow and ran for the couch. They were all covered up before their Mama left the front door.
Piper checking them out. You see why I have to have only child proof things in my house. No wonder the plate broke, right. Well I did it, not them. The pink fuzzy so soft throw COZY blanket was from JoAnne's and 80 % off.
The paint color on this wall (shows different in each picture) is........are you ready.........COZY BLANKET. That's where I got the name of my blog. Looks like a Wendy's
Frosty. I have always said I would love to name paint colors and crayons. Wouldn't that be a fun job.
Not much happening here this week-end just alot of resting (again). This coming week will be a busy one with lots of fun things to talk about. (And some more buzzard information)
Praying for all of you in the path of these tornados. And as always ((((((HUGS))))))

Glad to hear you're safe and sound. I love the name of the paint and how you named the blog. I also LOVE that quilt. It's beautiful.

I have found a way to keep the quilt in place. Tuck it deeply into the crevices and around the backs of the cushions. And down the inner sides of the couch. Mine stays in place pretty darned well. And keeps the couch clean. Glad you guys like the pillow!

How cute, Debbie! Those kids are just so much fun, aren't they? What a beautiful quilt. Did you make that?

That paint name is perfect. I had no idea where you got your blog name from- now I know! Fun! xo Diana

I see you had about the same kind of day I did Debby...a cozy one with grandchildren! No, we didn't have severe weather...just a big weather change and wind! I, too, feel bad for those affected by the tornados.
Your quilt is beautiful and I've always loved plates on the wall. To bad one fell, but I bet you'll find a grieat replacement!

I'm relieved to hear that you were spared the tornado.
I love the picture of the granddaughters on the beautiful quilt. It looks so comfy. Even the dog loves it.

Sorry about your plate breaking but it's replaceable.
I hope that you are feeling much better by now.

Have a nice Sunday. Hugs, JB

am all contorted in recliner trying to get the pain to stop so decided to see if your photo for today was up. i have an old quilt on ours and love it. was looking at your sidebar and saw something new about following you on LInky. what in the world is that??? you are getting way too professional for this old gal. Hope you are OK...no bad headaches these days and that pops is doing better. School is rough...Mr.M is acting like he is going out this year instead of waiting for next year when they shut us down. He is dumping all of the kids on me and it is taking a toll. If he does go, I will go for sure. I cannot work for anyone else. He keeps saying he is NOT going to be there when they close down his school....sounds pretty ominous to me. Take care and have a good Sunday. Thank goodness the tornadoes spared you all. XOXOXO genie

Debby, I can only imagine what it would be like to be all cozy in a blanket at grandma's. Kids feel loved and safe with grandparents. I do not remember ever having grandparents...I think they were gone when I was young. So I try to be like I would have wanted them to be.:):) Smiles, xo, Susie(She Junks)

You couch does look cozy with that quilt on it. Your little ones and pets seem to be enjoying it too. This is the time of year when lots of layers are a good thing.

I love a cozy sofa...looks so inviting! I took some of my quilts off of mine today. It's warm here in Florida! ♥ I'm glad you're safe, too and pray for those that were hit by the tornadoes! ♥
