This little piggy had roast beef

I imagine that title will catch your attention. This Grammy was babysitting Sweet Goose and Sweet K. Bug (behind the camera) last night and broke her toe......the one that ate the roast beef.
Also maybe the one that "stayed home." I wish I could say it was during "my makeover", or Duck Duck Goose or Hide and Seek but no......just walking. I caught my toes under the sofa and I kept walking while they cracked and bent sideways. So toes are black and puffy but doesn't hurt as bad as the headache right now. The headaches have returned for several days now. I haven't had them since August so this to will pass.
Thank you all for your sweet comments. So much fun having family around. Only 2 of my grandchildren live here. The other four out West near the mountains. Our mothers live about an hour a half away in Logan County. My daughter and her family went to Disneyland last week so they weren't here for the holidays. Yes, they were there in all that rain.
Okay other news......guess what Santa brought me.......my 100th follower. Thanks Suzy Q for being the 100th.
Now, I am not a counter and not blogging for that reason BUT I am so thankful for all of you that take the time to read my blog. When I started about 10 months ago, I didn't know what direction I would go. I must be pretty chatty looking at all the posts that I have made. I don't think I planned on being "so personal" but that is just me. I don't know a stranger and have been known to tell someone I just met my whole life story. SO if you get a comment from me and wonder if I am "for real" just know it's ME. I don't tell fibs but probably tell alot more than most of you really want to know. I care about everyone. So much that I take in strays.....humans, animals, just about everything. Not good with plants, though, just saying. SO there you go.........this blog is all about the truth and I do appreciate all 100 of you.......
NOW..........I am going to have a giveway celebrating this milestone.
Not the numbers but "YOU" my blogging friends. It will be of "my favorite things". Just give me a little time to get it together. Keep checking back and I will post how you can enter.
(((((HUGS)))))) to all of you.

Hi Debby,
Congrats on your 100th follower. So sorry to hear your broke your toe and not doing anything very exciting either then you would have had a more exciting story to tell, like you fell off a horse. I did that once but then again I was in my 20's at the time.
Isn't it funny how blogs evolve? You kind of go with where they take you. Hugs Nan

Darn that Piggy! Wow that hurts just reading about how you did it. I am so very sorry. I know how bad broken toes hurt.
It is easy to see why you have so many followers because you are just the sweetest thing around in our world of blogging. Who would not want to follow you.
Like you I am not into it for the counter thing but it is pretty awesome to watch it grow. Makes you feel good.
I still have not figured out why I have so many but I love and appreciate each of you so very much.
Debby your sweet comment left me teary eyed but so thankful you left it for me.
This is a rough road with Gary and I am really nervous about being alone with him the next two nights. He will stay with me tonight so we can get up early for MD Anderson in Houston Wed and then we are spending the night near there because he has treatments all day both days. Scares me to see him go through so much. Plus my back is not giving me much of a break. lol or maybe break is not the right word ...
Love ya sweetie and keep your foot propped up and hope your headaches are not back

Drat....a headache. Wonder if it's from wounding your toes! Too much pain! I hope it goes away soon, as I know how it is to have them. I've been better since they put me on blood pressure meds, so fingers crossed.

Yes, your post got my attention! AND congrats on 100 followers! Apparently we all love 'chatting' with you, too! Your blog is fresh and fun, so keep it up!

Feel better my friend.

Hugs,
Jan

Yeah for your 100th..and owwww for your toes! I have done that before. If your coat them in Vicks rub and keep them in a white sock and go to bed..It will take the pain away..they are still blue and black..but the pain is gone. We did this for years with rodeoing and basketball fingers. Hope it works for you.

Congratulations on the 100 followers. Sorry to hear about the broken toe. I did the same in November, but my toe hit a foot stool. It feels fine now. Not much one can do for it. ;-)

Oh... shoot! I'm sorry about your little toes! I did that once only it was under one of those swivel rockers..the ones with the five different pieces of wood that they swivel on..well, anyway, I was vacumming and tried to lift the chair up to move it and my toes was right there with the nail of the big toe over the wood and pain streaked through my brain..and when I looked my big toe nail was standing straight up. Went to the hospital on that one! I didn't have a toenail for months and did you know that all of the nerves int the body END IN YOUR BIG TOE!
(still not over that one!) :)
Your poor toes!!

Congratulations on your 100th! And get well wishes on your toe! One of my 10 month old twins ran a walker up my foot yesterday - moral of that story - keep my shoes on around babies!

It is hard when family is far on the holidays. We were always stretched, trying to visit both sides on the big day. With my own family - I pick a weekend nearby. The calendar cooperated this year and we celebrated on Sunday the 26th. I lost my mom three years ago and I would give anything if she could have been there.

Get well soon so you can chase those grandchildren! Thanks for sharing your life with us.
