We went to the zoo today........hot, humid, fun

It was hot.  Thank goodness there were clouds.  This Grammy is tired....5 hours at the zoo, oh my.  Our zoo has a new polar bear exhibit.  We also have Manatees.  The cloudy blue pictures are Manatees.  They were not very active today.  Should I mention that we also have Jack Hanna, this zoo is his "baby."
This Baby Girl was worn out......so is her Grammy.
Not complaining, I'd do it again just not tomorrow.

Thanks for your comments yesterday.  They confirmed what I feel.  We will see what happens.
I am enjoying having Little Fella and
Babes here this week.  The older boys are their cousins.

You know we've lived here over five years, and I've yet to visit the zoo. I've got to do that!

That looks so fun. And tiring haha. I think I'd feel like that polar bear after - all laid out on that rock. ;)

The zoo can be so much fun but in the heat it also can be difficult. I remember days like you had, at the zoo in Portland, Oregon..most of the time the animals just hid. It is so nice though that you got to spend special time with the kidos even if it was hot.

Hi.
I saw your comment on CJane and then followed you here. Those grandkids are cute, cute, cute.

I'm a mama to a 4 year old and a 10 month old. So very nice to meet you.

Stopping by for the first time. I recently joined the Bloggerette Sorority and wanted to meet some of the 'sisters'.

My blog door is always open for new friends. Drop by, help yourself to some tea and cookies and meet my 6 dogs.

God bless.

Good grief woman!! how close were you to that gorilla? He looks kind of scarey!!
I know what you mean about getting worn out after a whole day somewhere with the kiddos. That's why we had them when we were young!!!!!
Neat blog.

Hi Debby, thanks so much for stopping by. It looks like you and yours had a great time in spite of the heat. We just can't bring ourselves to go to the zoo when it's that hot. But we do love going! Manatees! I haven't seen one since we moved away from Florida ten years ago!

Hi dear Debby! You've had a lot of fun, I see! I hope you have cleared up your mind about what you want to do. I think that the part-time job will be great: you will be able to work and also have time for the newborn to come!
Have a great week end!
Hugs!
Mara
