Random post

Yep, she did.  She ate the crickets.  Her daddy bought them.  He asked her if she wanted to eat them and with not a bat of the eye she put them in her mouth and ate them.  I didn't even get a picture of her looking at them.  I teased her later about seeing an antennae in her mouth.  She wasn't too sure about that.
Other random thoughts:
For some reason I can't comment on some blogs.  I am also being stopped from following some other blogs.
Anyone else having this problem?
I am tired of this heat........
My two grandbabies return to Colorado tomorrow.  It has been so much fun seeing them.  Of course, I missed the other two that weren't here.  Makes me sad to think of how much we miss out on their growing up being so far away.
About the job thing:
I did get a call back on the before and after school administrator job.  I have an interview on the 3rd.

Okay let this randomness end.  Hope everyone stays cool and has a restful week-end.   ((((HUGS))))

I guess since they were covered in chocolate it didn't matter what they were. I love the expression on her face.

I am tired of the hot weather too, it has been too hot and too dry for too long.

I have not been having any problem with the blogs or posting. Sorry you are having problems and I hope it all gets worked out.

Will be sending up prayers for you about the job. Maybe after the interview you will know what you want to do.

Have a great weekend. Hugs

Oh that's too funny. We saw bacon flavored crickets the other day and I just couldn't believe it. Did she like them?

What does it say when it's blocking you from commenting or following?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend too!! ;)

You can tell her for me that I ate some chocolate covered ants one time.

Have a great weekend.

Debby! This is too hilarious!! Look at her face!!

Hang in there on the job. You'll know what to do when the time comes...in the meantime I had the same issues with blogger. I just make a note and come back. It usually works then.

Have a great weekend,
Carrie

Debby...I loved this story and the picture is so cute. Boy, can I relate to missing my children and my grandchildren. VA is a LONG ways from Seattle, a pretty long ways from Maryland’s Eastern Shore, but not too far from Richmond...THANK GOODNESS! There lives my only granddaughter (5)...all the other 5 boys are scattered all over.

Hugs,
Genie

At the summer camp we sent my daughter and a couple of girls to, they gave them the challenge to eat insects - the same - they came away with a button stating I at a bug!
The 11 year old was so very proud of herself!
My daughter was beyond doing anything like that!
They're so precious right at that before teen age!
Hope you have a great weekend and know you'll make the right decision regarding the job,
Kathy

Well it's plenty cool here Debby. We're had the heat on in the basement all summer so far, only turning it off a couple times when we opened the doors. I had to stand and sit at a booth in the Farmer's Market yesterday and got so cold I didn't warm up all day.
