Little of this a little of that

This is the quilted wall hanging that I won in a give a way from Donna at Comin' Home.  Isn't it beautiful.  I'm not sure this is where it will stay.  I love it.  Donna is such a sweet mom, grandma and wife.  Her blog is inspiring.
My scarecrow for Cindy's fall ME banner swap.  Her blog is Rick-Rack and Gingham.  She has a huge family and is so sweet.  She burns the candle at both ends lately.  She is awaiting hurricane season.  You have to read her blog to find out why.  The second picture is the letter l as in FALL, also for the swap.  The backs of my letters are pretty simple....just in case you see the banner from another room.
Sunday I did nothing but rest.  My husband and I watched a marathon movie on the Hallmark channel.  He even admitted that he liked the movies.
Monday, yesterday, I worked on this swap, ran to the store as I was out of Gluten free items.  I sure miss real bread.  A little loaf of GF was over $6......it was about the third of the regular size loaves.
Today, I made some phone calls and delivered some resumes.  I am trying to find a job.  I am just going to see what happens.
A friend called and wanted to know if I would go on The Tour of Homes.  It is in a fancy wealthy community....the one that the owner of Bath and Body Works established.  I said no.  That is a hard word for me to say.  But I did, yeah.
For some reason I am feeling really tired....I may take a snooze.  My Yorkie is snoring in my ear at the moment.  She snores louder than my husband sometimes.
I am enjoying some alone time but I think I am missing working.

((((HUGS))) to all of you my dear Bloggers.

Thanks for the hug!! I love the banner and one of these days I'm going to make one. Another round to it project. I saw the post on the new hair cut and I love it. Now on to get mine cut shorter. Here is some luck, but you know that right job will come along. Isn't it hard to be patient and wait, well it is for me. Patience isn't my strong suit! So here is a hug back at you!!!

I'd say your yorkie has the right idea! :)

Debby, I am so glad you left a comment on my post. You figured out scarecrow perfectly! Oh my gosh is it ever cute! I hope you are in my group! Debby, please forgive me; but I can't make the trip to visit. I'm always brave to say yes, and then constant anxiety sets in. I literally make myself ill with it. It was so lovely to talk with you over the phone. I have gotten much worse over the last few years about leaving my home. My husband "makes" me work to keep me "out" as he likes to call my anxiety. Please forgive, I am a better friend through a computer screen. Elizabeth

What a lucky lady - great win that wall hanging is beautiful. That banner is so sweet too!

We buy gluten free bread too - I am on the hunt for a good recipe - the costs kills me.

Love the banner - Fall already huh? I guess I should start thinking about it too. Need to go visit CIndy and see what she's up to. So many sisters to visit!
I love my alone time. I wish I didn't have to work. I don't really HAVE to, but if I want to keep hitting those yard sales, and doing all these swaps and PLAYING the way I have been lately - I need to.
I'm still laughing at your comment. That was priceless!
:) Hugs! Karen
