10 Best Dynamite Day Trips

Find unexpected travel treasures in many small cities near major urban cities by Lisa Waterman Gray.

This was the article that I talked about yesterday.  I could copy the picture but not the article.  If you want to see the full article go to my facebook page.
I am surprised that out little town made this list as most of the other places are much bigger.

1.   Ann Arbor, Mich.
2.   Columbia, Mo.
3.    Fredericksburg, Texas
4.   GRANVILLE  OHIO
5.    Lake Charles, La.
6.    Las Cruces, N.M.
7.    Lawrence, Kansas
8.    Madison, Wisconsin
9.    Mason City, Iowa
10.  Moss Landing, California

Do any of you live near any of these cities.  If, so please tell us about your city.
Well, Hubby arrived home from work in the freezing cold and snowy weather, so I will get dinner on.
Stay warm and safe.

Hi Debby, how fortunate you are to live in such a special city.
I'm not on Facebook anymore but I looked it up on the web.

Have a sweet day.
Hugs.

Thanks for the compliment on my blog! I like your hair also! I cannot imagine 7 degrees! We think we are freezing when we get in the 20's here in Florida!

I love reading these articles. What a beautiful downtown. Hendersonville NC makes those lists sometimes...it has a nice downtown, too. Stay warm my friend! Hugs!

This looks like quite an interesting list. I've never been to any of these cities and towns.

I love the photo of the deer. I used to see them all the time when I was working, and now I miss them. Not enough to go back to work though! haha.

We're leaving soon for Pogo's appointment at the beauty salon. Got to get him all spiffied up for our trip to Florida.

You stay warm, and have a super day. Hugs, Edna B.

I have hears such wonderful things about Granville, Ohio! My cousin doesn't live far from there, and has invited us many times to visit; next time I'm home, I just might!

Happy Wednesday, Debby!
