Listed

We signed the listing agreement today during the garage sale.  The garage sale that no one came to.  Only a handful.  We will close the garage door and have it on a Friday another time.  I had it all set up inside because of all the rain.  It rained all morning.  It started out so humid you could hardly breathe.  Now it is cooler with a breeze.  I even have a sweatshirt on.   We haven't had the official pics taken.  Here are a few I took on the kindle.  It's so hard to take a pic of the front of the house.  The roof line is getting repaired.

Thanks a bunch for all your prayers and positive thoughts.    I knew you could boost my spirits.xxxx

It's a journey. But you will be glad you downsized. It's easier to do it while you're healthy than after something happens, like the ankle. And then you can have less to maintain and just enjoy life!

May I share a few helpful hints for selling your home...I was a realtor and hubby still is...
Having the inside look like a model home...remove all personal collections, nic-nacs, family photos, etc ...clean out closets and cupboards. Pack away all the "extras"...and I bet your realtor will have a few suggestions too! Less is MORE when selling a home. You want the buyers to see the HOME and not your personal belongings. I say this in the kindest way...
warmly,
deb

Dear Debby, I just read your last post. God will watch over you, and I will pray for you my friend. Remember that you are not alone, you are so important to your family and friends. You do so much for others, now is the time to take care of yourself. Sending warm hugs and good thoughts. Love, Penny

Don't feel bad about the low turn out at your garage sale. I once had one in the rain too. Hardly anyone came. I wasn't able to set things out on the driveway for people to drive by and see. That along with the rain deterred most people. Plan to have it on a sunny day and I bet you'll have lot so customers!
