Outside my house

I have to confess.  I am not a gardener at all.  I plant flowers in two flower boxes, my big iron kettle, and just a couple other places.  Since I was gone most of June , I didn't plant much.  But my flower boxes with inpatients (not pictured) look good.  The kettle with begonias look prettier in person.  First time planting those.  The basket of flowers on my trike are dead.  My fairy garden has grown a tiny bit.  That's okay. I did find two more bowls like this for next year.  And this is my potting bench.  As you can see the weeds are doing great.  The table is at the end of my very long narrow porch.  I happened to find this in the garage.  I asked Mr. Cozy where it came from.  He moved it from the cottage that we used to have.  I wasn't here when he moved everything back home.  (Colorado for a sorta emergency).  So this is the before.  I used ASCP.......just one coat.  I paint and pot on this.  I want to add a little banner to the front.  Oh, and I do have a couple other little things that I will show pictures of later.  We have had so much rain that I haven't even watered but a couple times in June.  I do enjoy all your lovely gardens.  Don't laugh at mine......oh go ahead.....it's okay.

I think your flowers look really good. The heat has about ruined most of ours already.

Your begonias are so beautiful. I haven't gone anywhere but I'm not very good at caring for the potted begonia plants on my front porch. They feel very neglected and dry... The other potted plants that are outside are doing much better as God waters those often, lol.

Have a great week Debby.
Hugs,
JB

Aw, sweetie...your flower pots are doing just fine! At least you chose to not go overboard instead of having lost flowers to the drought or too much rain!

Every year is different...go with the flow! Make YOURSELF happy! :)

Jane

I'm still completely smitten with your fairy garden. We'll have to get creative with a gardening bench once Chris finally gets his potting shed/storage completed. Have a lovely week ahead.

Your flowers are gorgeous! And I just love your fairy garden :) I am not much of a gardener either. I love my rose bushes but unfortunately I tend to have a brown thumb. Thanks for sharing :)

Dear Debby, I love your garden, especially your fairy garden that inspired me to make my own. At about this time of year I lose interest in gardening, and start to nest inside again. So glad that you got your Shirley. All my dolls had haircuts and mustaches drawn on them from my dear brothers...but I was never a doll kind of girl. Now I have them for my little girls who love to undress them and leave them naked around the house for me to redress! Have a great week my friend. Love, Penny

I love your begonias! I don't have any of those in my garden. Maybe next year. I have just caught up with your blog posts, and I must say that I just love your photos from Savannah. What a beautiful city. I also enjoyed seeing your dolls. I have a doll collection too. Not tons, but ones that I love. Now I'm off to play with Pogo. You have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B.

Debby, I think your container gardens are enchanting. I once lived in a townhouse and did all container gardening on the deck. It's probably the prettiest "garden" I've ever had. Love your potting bench, too. Thanks for sharing.

I just wanted to thank you so much for being a faithful bloggy friend. You come to my blog, read what I share and leave a kind comment. All when I have been almost nonexistent for over a month. Thank you, thank you. It means so much to me.

Debby dear, your Fairy garden is adorable. I LOVE that little tin house! My Fairy Gardens have grown so much that I have trouble finding the little house etc. :)
I need to sit down and do some grooming! It's amazing how folks that come to visit love them.
I especially like being able to move them about the yard. They seem to hold the mositure well too.
I love your tiny white fence!! So cute!
Hugs,
Mona
Laugh?? I won't laugh if you won't! :):) I think we did good!
