A rare quiet moment

While my daughter takes her children to Salt Fork State Lodge (1/1/2 hours away) to see if they can find Big Foot, I am going to post a couple pictures.
We have had a wonderful time so far.  A few of those moments that just happen but we have survived.  Here is a  little list of our time in Hilton Head......

trips to the beach
lots of swimming in the house pool (including one rescue......scary)
eating blue ice cream
sea food, yum
adult children going out at night
streph throat and a trip to urgent care
lots of grocery store trips
caught a horseshoe crab
alligators  close by
lots of rain one night
a sunset dolphin cruise
a cruise to Savanah
Greg Russell under the tree
fishing
jelly fish
two little closets as play houses
lots of picture taking
fun at Salty Dog
locking the keys in the car
gluten free pizza
taco night
grilled sea food
packing up and departures
grumpy kids in the car
early stop in Va.
2 check in while three others go to ER
Little guy has streph and temp of 105
Another one in another car has streph as well
Finally in Ohio
Rest, refuel and leaving again for Colorado on Friday

Debby, That was a lot going on...some fun , some not so fun. I think you need a mini vacation after that vacation. Rest up girl. xoxo,Susie

What a long list of fun and not so fun. It must be hard on Grandma. You will definitely need a vacation after this.

That's too bad about the strep, but otherwise it sounds like it was a lot of fun!

Oh- Debby- It looks like you had such a wonderful time so far. God bless all those sweet grandkids. We had a busy time, too, with only three kids. I came home and had a terrible headache so got nothing done this first full day home. UGH- better tonight so I will have to get my butt in gear tomorrow- xo Diana

Morning Debby-Listen-I can't respond to your emails cuz it comes back undeliverable. Can you send me the correct email address again. Meantime-here is the message I sent in response to your email:
Praying for your pup. It's hard with kids around-I have one
rough grandson, too. He is like a bulldozer on dope and Mom is not too
quick to tame him either.
Enjoy your time in CO. I know you will. You have sure had a busy summer
and I am so sorry you are still dealing with the headaches. Mine is gone
this morning, thank goodness. They are so bad I can hardly keep my eyes
open when they hit. I have not had them since that spell last winter and I
hope this isn't the start up again. I'll pray for you, too.
Hope you have a wonderful week with the kids. xo Diana

Well, with that many kids on a trip at one time, you're bound to have some things go wrong! Sorry to hear that there were sick kids during the trip. That's no fun! On the flip side, it sounds like y'all had some fun times too. I've never been to Hilton Head before. I've heard it's very pretty.
