Crawling out from under my rock

Hello my friends.  I am trying to feel better.  I actually do.  My cough is almost gone.  My ear still hurts and it is a little hard for me to get my breath.  The less I do the better.  I will get there.  I know from some of you and other people that it takes a couple weeks. These pictures were taken a few weeks ago.  There was a Scrapbooking Memories Expo going on in Columbus.  I went last year and was too overwhelmed.  The one vendor that I really liked is actually local.  She has a warehouse sale at the same time.  Have you heard of  JILLIBEAN.  The  store is in downtown Marysville (Ohio) in case you would like to visit.  I don't know if they always carry all the scrap booking things but I imagine they do.  Everything was grouped so nicely.  You didn't have to root everything to find different items.  They were grouped together.  I was so excited to see all the vintage items.  I will post more pictures the next time as Blogger would only let me post these.
That polka dot banner.....was made with burlap and painted.  I think the twine was just glued on.
I loved the use of the clip boards.  This was just a small little space but so cute.
Well, that's about it for now.  I'll be back again soon.  Thanks for all of your comments.  I will start leaving comments again.  Izzy is doing okay.  She is walking more, the steroids are helping but now we have to cut back on them.

Glad you are feeling better. This virus that has been going around can really kick your butt from what I am hearing. I have even heard some have been hospitalized because of it.Hopefully this warm Spring weather will knock this thing out that's going around. Take it easy and do some fun relaxing stuff close to home. ~Hugs, Patti

Jillibean's must be a fun place, Debby. Marysville is a cute little town, but I've never done much snooping in the stores there. Your post makes me want to scurry back to Ohio and hit all my favorite places. A long trip from Colorado Rockies, I'm afraid. I'm sorry you've been under the weather. Bronchitis is no fun, I know. Take very good care of yourself and don't try to do too much too soon. Poor little Izzy. I'm glad she's doing better. Prayers for completely healing for both of you. Hugs -- Nancy

I'm glad that you are starting to feel better and that Izzy is getting around better too. I hope that she'll continue getting better as time goes.

I tried scrap booking and gave up before I even got started. lol.

Hugs,
JB

Good to hear you are making a recovery. The winter weather surely has been a problem for SO many reasons! And then I hear that allergy season is going to be awful. Oh, joy.

Thinking of you and wishing you a better Spring!

Hi Debby, It seems we both need to med ourselves for the coming spring. 80* here, can you believe it! Well, 60* with our Ohio wind!
I had no idea Jillybean is local. How neat is that! I hope you had fun at the sale and got a few things. I enjoyed her winter line this past year.
We must get together for lunch when school is out. I hopefully will be up to walking by then!
Be well, Elizabeth

I hope you feel better soon! Keep an eye on it and don't over do it. My daughter's turned into pneumonia.

Such a charming shop!

Debby, I too fall behind on blog reading, but thankfully not because of illness. Sorry to read about your ills and Izzy's and hope you both are on the way to feeling good. Scrap booking is one hobby I never got into...good thing because it would have been overwhelming for me.
