Raining Cats and Dogs

I was in a sad mood yesterday.  I thought about not going to the elementary school Halloween parade.  But I did.  I got a great parking place since I left early.  All I had to do was get out and stand by my car as all the littles and their teachers walked by.  I took lots of pictures but these two are my favorite.  My sweet Goose in her "It's raining Cats and Dogs" costume.  She was so excited.  After seeing all those sweet innocent children having so much fun, my days was brighter.  We only had 8 trick or treators..........two families plus two of their guests.
So happy November......how can that be.......time moves so fast.

What a cute costume Debby. I know what you mean seeing the kids happy can makes us happy. I go to my daughter's clas at Christmas and get hugs and smiles galore. The teacher is my girl..so she hugs me too. :):) Smiles, Susie

The faces of the kids are so amazing, like you said, there is so much happening around them, but they are still delighted with Halloween. And it should be that way.

How cute Goose looks. Your DIL sure had some great ideas below for her party. We get no trick or treaters out here but in the town of Homer they sure do I'm told.

Hi Debby- What a cute costume. Really sweet little pictures. Why were you so sad yesterday? Did I miss something or was it just kind of a "down" day- xo Diana

That is such a cute and creative costume!

We were expecting way more kids last night than we got. I have a ton of candy left. Candy I don't like (which I purposely bought thinking I'd only have a little if none leftover). I guess it was too cold last night to go out!

Sorry about your sad mood and thank goodness that the kids could cheer you up. That Goose is some cute and someone is sure creative to come up with the appropriate costume for the weather this Halloween.

I can't believe it is November already either. The months just fly by. Glad your mood was lifted yesterday. Children have a way of doing that....most of the time.~Hugs, Patti

Those costumes make me smile! Is it me, or do you also thing that costumes are becoming more original and creative with this generation? Love it all. We had about 10 groups of kids and I noticed the parents with them. That makes me happy. In this day and age you just can't be careful enough with your children. I read in our newspaper about parents in violent neighborhoods in Chicago taking their kids to better neighborhoods. That made me so happy, that these kids could enjoy Halloween, have that experience and make memories. It makes my problems feel so small.

I hope you are cheered up today. I get days like that a lot more than people think. Just getting out of my house makes a difference in my mood. I am always here if you want to talk.

XO,
Jane
