Our New Tree

Ever since I first saw these bear hugging trees I wanted one.  The prices were so high.  Little did I know that my cousin actually had one.  When I found out I had to have it.  It was bigger than I thought.  I could barely get it into my bug.  Jo and I had the same likes for sure.  She collected bears and so did I.  I was so excited to have this tree.  There were a few ornaments still left on the tree.  They are staying on, just because.  I added a few of my favorite ornaments.  This bear is over 3 feet tall.  And there is a wee one near the bottom of the tree.  I will still have my little tree(s) in my antique wagon but for now I am just enjoying my latest treasure.  The tree looks alot greener than the photo shows.....and yes, I did try to edit it.

So the decorating has begun but going very slow.  I have not been up to par for a couple of days and have been spending some time on the sofa.  I am enjoying seeing all the decorations going up on your blogs.

P.S.  If you haven't gotten your swap partner information, please contact me.  I sent the information out a week ago.
Have fun getting into the spirit of Christmas.

I'm happy that you were able to get your bear-hugging tree. It is even more special to have "come upon it" as you did.

I'm glad that getting a bear tree is making you happy. Sorry that you are not feeling well these last few days. I hope that you are on the mend.

I don't have my Christmas decorations out yet but hope to start as soon as I'm done my yard work.

Have a good week. JB

What a beautiful tree! I've seen these! In Asheville there is a store called Day in the country and they have them. I've always loved them...and they are very expensive! So much fun to decorate though! I'm so glad you got one for this holiday. It will be special!

Such a cute tree! I had a bear hugging the tree that sits on my porch, but some animal tore it apart! Guess I need to find me another bear!

I do not believe you. I still have NOTHING up anywhere in the house. Went out to the barn this weekend to get my little tree and the darn rats had peed in the plastic bag. YUCK!!! Buddy washed it down today. Hope we can salvage it. genie

This is SOSOSO cute, Debby. His iPad. Love it. OK, gal. I have a package ready to be mailed to you, but I cannot find the address in my old emails anywhere. Better late than never. Made you a little goodie to add to your decorations. I am finally back to the blogging. Between the bad back, the eCourse, and driving to Mattie's and back over Thanksgiving I was dead meat. Think I will make it, now. Will NOT be returning to school in the fall. This is it. I am calling it a day :-) Hugs.....genie
