Oh Deer

This little guy has been hanging out in our neighborhood for several days. He has a twin.
I see them all the time. Sometime they are with their mom and sometimes not. They stand really close to the road eating grass. I keep rolling down the window and telling them to move back a little. They look at me with big brown eyes like they are listening. I just love their little spots. Wonder what God was thinking when he gave them polka dots.
Hope you are having a great week.

Oh, they are so very sweet. We have deer around us too and get to see the wee ones every once in awhile.

Have a great day! xo

Debby, I was at the pa house and I saw twin baby deer. They were licking each others coats, the cutest thing ever. I also roll down the window and tell them to move away from the road. :)

I just love seeing fawns in a field. Those big "Doe" eyes always seem so innocent.

Hey-I still have your x-mas box! It's totally ok if you changed your mind though. Not sure if you got my emails...but just let me know.
Hope you are having a great week!

Oh- Aren't they dear?;>) I just love fawns- it was the first live birth I ever saw- a fawn being born in the woods. Growing up on a farm I can't believe I didn't see calves, etc. before that. Anyway, I THINK I remember my father telling me that the spots acted as camouflage in the woods- like the speckled light filtering down through trees....but I wouldn't swear that's why they have spots.

I love your pictures- xo Diana

I don't know, but you know I love polka dots! I wish I could get a pic of them.

Oh I had one of those in my garden a few weeks ago. Ate almost 60 of our tomatoes. Got a pic of it looking right at me. Then it jumped over the fence. Now that we have had some rain I hope it has found better things to eat. But I do love to see wild life so close.

I've been seeing a pair of fawns this summer too. Usually two fawns and three does. I so enjoy seeing them on my morning walks. They come down to the edge of the little river I walk by to drink and eat grass. It's so fun when they are frolicking!

so innocent and sweet.. I love seeing them.. poor defenseless creature of God. I'm sure it wont be long till some big burly "trying to show what a man he is" fella goes into the woods armed like he was taking over a foreign country to take that sweet thing Down..
all things change on this planet and the day may come when the situation is reversed and when it does I dont want to hear the Burly fella's whine.

just my opinion of course:)

I could have taken these same pictures except I didn't have my camera! We also have twin fawns in the neighborhood. I love catching glimpses of them.

Oh that little faun is so sweet we don't have any deer here. The spots are like light on them so they blend in. Hope things are going okay for you and you're not too hot there. We finally got some nice sunny days and today it's 60 degrees and I see the weather it's that way for awhile.

I think deer have the most precious faces and their eyes are beautiful. Nice pictures Deb. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hugs
