Reading is fun

I LOVE to read, how about you.
Not so much for books but I do manage a couple here and there.  My problem is once I start a book I read it til it's finished.  So nothing else gets done.
I used to be magazinaholic.
But then some of my favorite ones went out of print.  When I started blogging I was still mourning those mags.
Now when I get one, I quickly look and it isn't as exciting.  You know why?  It's because my favorite read now are YOUR
BLOGS.  I spend way too much time doing so but I get back so much in return.  I love reading about all your lives, your art, your homes.........I love it all.
I am offering a GIVE-A-WAY when I reach 75 followers.  I already have it ready to go.  It's ME related.
Nothing fancy but some of her products that I have been finding.
ALl you have to do is be a follower.
If you are a follower of my blog and I don't follow you, PLEASE let me know.  WHY, because I want to follow you.

Also, I could use a little HELP.  Yesterday my vision went all wavvvvy again for about an hour and then the dreaded headache returned.  I am so bummed.  Of course, my hubby being the wonderful caregiver he is, wants to take me to ER. (He left for Wally World for some food)  The doctor told me if they didn't go away that tests would be needed.  I had those last year.  I would have dizzy spells, like vertigo for about 30 seconds then a headache for a brief period then the next day I would be so tired.  The tests were okay.  Has anyone had THIS kind of problem.  The headache pills didn't help before.  It seemed that the antibiotics did.  I had a cough.  The cough is gone but still shows up once in awhile.  I am SO SORRY that I keep posting about not being healthy,.  I want to be so bad.  So if anyone has ADVICE please send it my way.  Thank you SO much.   ((((HUGS))))  I better get off of here before Hubby returns.

I truly feel for you. I sometimes get the dreaded vision waves along with a temporary blind spots in my field of vision. This is always followed by a real nasty migrane. You know, the type where you have to turn off all the lights, and go to bed immediately. I was told by several doctors that the vision strangeness is actually an ocular migrane, and the migrane headache can accompany that. I get these episodes once every few months, so I've gotten used to them and they are not a serious condition. Right after my daughter was born in 2001, I was experiencing many bouts of vertigo...so scary. They would only last about 1 minute, but with a newborn around I was very concerned I would drop her. So I had some test, but nothing was diagnosed. The vertigo bouts stopped a short time later. I do hope you feel better soon. Sometimes it is just a passing thing, but always should be checked. I'll be saying a prayer for you.
P.S. You seem like the sweetest Grandmother to your lucky grandchildren.

Hugs,
Maureen

I am so sorry you still are having problems. Please, please, please do not worry about sharing with us these problems.

I am a firm believer in giving more credit to holistic health care and alternative medicine. I hear people grumbling as I type...
I do also believe in traditional means also but when they can't find the answer then others may have them. If you are able to visit a Naturopath you may get some simple answers. I know you find this far fetched but it really is not.
You will remain in my prayers. Love and Hugs.

Sweet Debby I am so sorry that you are still having the vertigo, headaches and vision problems. I do hope that it all goes away and will never come back. That has to be miserable. I hope the doctor has an answer for you if you go in and they can do something to fix you up. Will keep praying for you. Hugs

Debby, I can tell you are from Ohio because you call WalMart, Wally World! Too cute! Yes, I have heard of this problem. My oldest daughter and also a friend have suffered from this vertigo type of headache. It is called Miniers Ear (I know this is not the spelling) It can be extremely debilitating. I do hope you find out what causes them. Oh how sweet is your lunch box for school! Finally it seems fall my soon come our way! I hope you enjoyed your first week! Elizabeth

Debby did you in fact have an MRI of your brain? If not you need to get one.

Headaches and visual disturbances can be so debilatating......mine do not sound as bad as yours and I've worked out that they are probably due to the onset of menopause.......but I'm not sure of your age......anyway after taking "Evening primrose oil" supplements for a while, mine seem to have improved. I don't know if this helps you in any way......hope you're feeling better soon,

I had wondered if your problem might be some type of migraine. I am so sorry you are having the pain. I hope that what they did for you will stop it all and you will be feeling wonderful in no time. Keeping you in my prayers. Hugs

I pray that your headaches will go away...I suffer too and have been having quite a few lately. One terrible one that lasted for days...nothing seemed to help. It finally subsided. Reading was impossible (haha)

Oh Debby I'm so sorry. I totally understand how it is to not feel well - and of course you can talk to use about it!
I think I agree with the other comments that maybe you should have the tests. Just to rule out anything serious. Also - if it's the ear thing - that could be helped by the antibiotics. If there are ear issues - that could definitely make you dizzy.
I hope you have a good week at school and are able to work ok.
And I'm hoping you make it to 75 soon!! :)

Hi Debby,

Sorry to hear about your health, but I'm never tired to hear more, so don't worry about that. Did they gave you a scan? I hope you will be better soon.
