Heart Day for sure

BloggerImagei know this isn't a good picture but it's US and how we celebrated our Valentines.
I spent three hours getting tests on my heart and another hour checking my brain.  And Hubby sat waiting for me patiently.  Well almost, he got worried when I was gone for three hours and not two.  And the good news is both are fine.  When I returned from the horrific brain scan I was a mess.  He took my socks off and rubbed my legs with lotion.  The nurse said, "You guys are so cute." My son told his dad that he was a good husband and that he is.
The week before he surprised me .  We went for lunch and on the way to the movie he said he wanted me to look for a heart shaped diamond. I had a beautiful one once.  My challenged son had taken it and gave it to a girl that was also challenged.  But we didn't know that for 15 years.  I looked and looked for that ring.  We thought I had lost it or it was taken.  So this was my surprise.  The lady at the jewelry store tried to talk me into a band as well .  I think she said, "Wow you like things plain." Hah, yep that's me.  It's beautiful with my band.
No need to worry .  I just had several symptoms that together combined with my family history caused concern for a two night stay in the hospital and a bunch of tests.  Still no answers but with a good heart and a good brain, I can't complain. I'm to see a neurologist and another test was recommended.  I don't think I can handle any more tests for awhile.
The hospital ER and rooms were full. So many are sick with the flu. In the cardiac wing the patients we saw were struggling.  Hubby and I both said we wanted to get back to the pool and do better with our diets.
So I'll just stop there for now.  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm sorry about your heart and brain scare and I'm glad they are OK.
Adjusting your diet might be a great thing to do. You two are too cute of a couple to be sick in your old age. It's never too late to start eating organic and stop eating foods and drinks with chemicals that our bodies can't cope with. Aspartame is a really bad chemical that makes people very sick as well as lots of food additive to preserve food.

I've been reading labels and if there's a lot of chemical, it stays on the shelf.
I hope that you'll live to a ripe old age with your prince. Take care.

I am so glad that your heart and brain are OK! You are lucky to have such a loving hubby that gets it. Most hubbies are NOT caregivers. How sweet that you got the heart shaped diamond to replace the one taken from you. Love to you, my friend. xo Diana

It was wonderful to read that your tests so far have been good. It's never fun to spend time in the ER. I was there for my back a couple of weeks ago and so many had the flu then as well. I just wanted out of there before I succumbed to the dreaded influenza. It's been a rough year for a lot of people. I hope the remainder of your tests turn out well too. Congratulations on the new diamond and the diamond that is your husband. You are blessed and so am I with the men we're married to.

It's good to know that you are healthy. It also gives you much peace of mind. Your hubby is definitely a keeper. He sounds wonderful. I've been fortunate in that so many of my friends and family married keepers too. Can't wait to see your beautiful new heart diamond. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
