The reason for the season 2015

Miss Mabel spent the night with us Saturday.  We took her to church with us.  The children's play used one of my dolls as Baby Jesus.  While she was sitting in church she drew this.  We all know that Jessie is the reason for the season.  Happy Birthday Baby Jessie.
Her visit made Little Hank so happy.  He had a short lived burst of energy.  Since we gave away all of our other beds we now have one king size bed.  We plan to get new beds for the guest room.  Well, that meant we all slept together.  Two adults and one child and two dogs.  Mabel asked first if Grampy wore clothes to bed.  I said "Of course he did."  She said "Good because that would be yucky."  So Grampy loaded on extra clothes, hah.  I woke up once in the night and Little Hank was standing on top of her starring at her.  He has been burning up with fever off and on. We are going to the vet in a little bit.  They want us to wait in the car until they have a room.  Scary.  We are sure he has kennel cough. I sure hope they can help him.
While Mabel was here she was busy drawing, cutting and making a gingerbread house.  I got this one at Target in the $3 bin. No candy.  It was so cute when she finished it.
Grampy wanted a selfie of our first grandchild visit to our new home.

Good Afternoon, I needed the chuckle and Miss Mabel did indeed do just that with her question about grandpa. You never know what little ones will say. It truly amazes me. My oldest grandson is sick so little brother is taking care of him. There is a flu bug going around. I am hoping I don't get it. Take care. Merry Christmas. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley

That photo of the three of you is sososo dear. I Know you all had a wonderful time. Don;t you love the spelling of the little one? Our Eloise can misspell words in such a funny way and she is in 5th grade. Sorry about the dog. Hope Little Hank is feeling better soon.It seems like if it is not one thing, it is another. Remind Grampy to be sure and put on those extra clothes every night..hehehe. g

Mabel is quite an artist!! I would definitely frame that darling drawing she made in church! Sweet!

I hope your puppy feels better soon. Our granddog had kennel cough last week and he was pretty miserable.

I'm laughing about wearing extra clothing to bed. hehehehe

Have a wonderful Christmas, Debby!

What wonderful photos. I surely do hope that Hank will be better really soon. This is just one of the reasons that I don't ever put my pets in a kennel when I travel. I have always paid someone to stay at my house to take care of my little ones. It was healthier and caused less stress on my doggies.

Now, if I can't take Pogo with me, his foster mother from the shelter (that rescued him) has offered to babysit him for me. You also have to be careful with new grooming salons. My little guy got kennel cough at a new salon. Luckily, I took him to the hospital right away.

Debby, I love your Christmas card. Thank you so much. Pogo and I wish you and your family a beautiful Christmas. Hugs, Edna B.
