Debby, It's sad that some places need rain and some have had too much this year. I worry for all the people in these places. We all need to send up prayers. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

Amen!! I've been following the news about the fires and the monsoons and it is just heartbreaking. I'm praying that the danger will be gone soon. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

p.s. How's Mom doing? Better I hope.

It is hard to believe that something like this can happen, let alone happen multiple times in the same year. Whenever a forest fire happens i pray for those family that are uprooted from their homes and have so much taken away from them. I hope they are able to continue to live their lives in a better place and that it rains soon.

Thanks for the kind wishes. It’s scary just how life altering these events are, especially because no one ever really considers them a possibility. Fire safety is something that people just need to take seriously. At least the silver lining of these events is that people will be more aware of the dangers in the future.

A few prayers sent for the safety and protection of firefighters works wonders. It is not always easy to set out to do a job, knowing that your life or health may be in danger. People who put themselves in harm's way in order to help others are a special breed. We have had so many disasters already across the world.
