Happy Labor Day

It seems funny to say HAPPY in the same sentence as LABOR.  But it is a celebration of the working force that keeps our country moving forward and puts the bread on the table.  Some work a lot harder than others.  In my case it is my husband.  I feel so fortunate that he works like he does.  I was able to stay home with my children when they were little.  I have never had a high paying job.  Little jobs here and there.  My most important jobs are the ones working with children.  We don't live in a castle or vacation in Europe.  Other things are more important.  Thanks to Mr. Cozy for all his hard work.
Just a little side note:  We are having so much fun spending time with this sweetie and her family.  So thankful that they live close by now.
P.S.  Thank you for your comments and encouraging words on my last post.  ((((HUGS))))

HAPPY LABOR DAY Debby, what a nice tribute to your husband. How nice that your grand kids are living close by. What a cutie...

We are having rain today so I'm using my Labor Day to keep on laboring, lol... I've got lots done in the house today vacuuming and tiding up and doing bedding laundry and everything else.
I had planned to work outside but my time didn't go wasted.

Hugs,
JB

I have never really had an "important" full time outside the home either. I free lanced writing articles. But I am at heart a homebody. Read your last post. I know what you mean when someone you care about says something you just don't comprehend. Hurts.

I feel the same way. I worked before we had our children and then while we divorced for six years and didn't go back to work until they were grown. Worked part time at Hallmark so my SS won't be big but nothing compares to raising our children.

Love your header photo!
Happy Labor Day....

I agree this is a wonderful tribute to your hubby. I had to work most of my life, but I have no regrets. It afforded me to be able to take care of my family. We had a very wet Labor Day, but it was a great day for catching up on sleep. What a great photo with the granddaughter. She's such a cutie. Enjoy, and have a great day. Hugs, Edna B.

Debby, It was so nice to read the tribute to your hard working husband. I worked some odd jobs here and there , then I got a great job at G.M. Worked for them for 30 years, raised my sweet daughters with that job. The hardest and most meanful job I ever had was raising them.:):) I am blessed. I like your photos , this post. xoxo,Susie
