A beating heart

I don't know if I have shared this story with you before but my first grandchild was born without a heart beat.  Her Apgar was a 1 out of a 10.  If you understand about the Apgar scoring that means she was a warm body.  Her Mama had a contraction that wouldn't end.  It came out of no where.  She had gone to the hospital thinking she was in labor.  They were sending her home to be scheduled for a c-section the next day because the baby was a breech baby.  The nurses grabbed the nearest doctor.  The doctor didn't know what to do when Hope was born.  But the nurse did.  She wrapped her up and ran out of the room.  She did CPR on her and gave her an injection.  She saved my sweet granddaughter life.  Poor Hope's chest was black and blue.  She was the Queen of the NICU weighing in at almost 9 lbs.  She didn't stay long there.  She was a miracle baby for sure.  I have always said that the angels got together and decided to create a dream come true. (The Carpenters)
I thought we could all use an UPBEAT post.

Hi Debby, Your little one is truly a gift. I have enjoyed seeing all of the Valentines. It is approaching fast that much is for sure. Hope all is well with you. It is cold and so much sickness at the nursing home. So far, he has been lucky. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.

As a grandmother I read this "heart" story through tears...there ARE angels here among us, as that nurse surely was with Hope. Valentines and hearts I'm sure have a much more beautiful meaning for your family. Thank you for sharing this wonderful sotry, Debby. ~Zuni

Oh I do believe in angels and Praise God one was there with your sweet grand daughter.
Isn't it amazing how angels do their work. Hard to imagine a Dr not knowing what a nurse knew.
Thank you for sharing this miracle.
