Things that brighten my day

Some days can be sad. Some days can bring tears. Some days are just hard to get through. What brightens my day...........
flowers
hearts
the sun shining
my husband
my kids and my grandkids
a sweet friend
a teddy bear
my doggies
memories
pictures
you
a talk with God
What brightens your day? Maybe the same things or something else. I would love to hear.
Don't forget to sign up for my sweet giveway. This necklace has a value of $52. I was asked by Shabby Apple if I would like to do a giveway for my blogging friends. The only thing I get is the same 10% discount. I did this for you because you also brighten my day. I tried to find something that I thought you would all love. Who doesn't love anything with a key. All you have to do is check www.shabbyapple.com out and leave a comment of something you like.......or like them on Face Book. I would love to win this but I can't. I am a bit surprised that more haven't commented. Better chances for those that do, but I wish more would .
(It has been one year today that my cousin passed away. I miss her so. I have been dreading this day. It's like I have to get through this to move on. She will always be in my heart)

Some days are diamonds some are stones I guess you're having a stone day. It will turn around soon I'm sure and you will sparkle again.

I'm so sorry Debby. You are right, some days are difficult to get through.

What brighten my day on such a sad occasion is the promise that life isn't over but has changed to something more beautiful and perfect that our eyes can't perceive where there are no more pain or sorrow, in perfect peace in Christ.
This is the thought that has carried me over when I lost my dear mother last year to stomach cancer.

Of course sunshine and flowers and babies smiles also brighten my days. Hugs. JB

I just found your post today after reading your comment on Cozy Little House. Some things that are brightening my day today are: Sunshine in February, my little black pomeranian at my feet snoring, yellow crocus starting to bloom in my yard, receiving a call from my son who is serving in the Air Force, remembering my 2 year old grandson's great big smile when it was me at his door yesterday, and finding a sweet blog like yours. I believe it is a good thing for you to think on some of the bright spots in life as you remember your cousin today.

Oh, Debby, bless your heart. I didn't realize this was the day. I know it's filled with sadness for you.

PS: I just visited shabbyapple. I don't do Facebook but I love the key necklace that you posted about and I also thought that the necklace with the bee and piece of amber was really cute. I am definitely thinking spring. I thought they had some cute spring-y scarves, too.

Hi Sweetie...I am so sorry to hear you are having a bad day. Losing a loved one, no matter how many years go by, doesn't lessen the pain really especially when the memories decend on you. Those who have lost understand the most.
My love to you...

My heart goes out to you. Sometimes I think others have to experience a big loss firsthand to know how much it hurts. I'm sending you a big hug.

XO,
Jane

There's always that empty hole that can't be filled by anyone else. I think enjoying all the good memories is as close as I can ever come to keeping them alive--in spirit. Sending a (hug).
