H1N1

I promise somewhere down the road I will be posting happy posts. Maybe when my Jo is dancing with Jesus. But for right now this post is to plead to all of you my blogging friends. Please get your flu shot. Jo took handfuls of Shaklee vitamins every day. She carried around this huge bag of them. We argued about flu shots this year. She said she never got them and didn't need them. She said she never got sick because of all the immunity vitamins she took. Well it is amazing that this strong as an ox person could be on life support right now because of this virus. What they say about flu shots being important and that this virus can kill is true. Jo is still with us but failing. She is comfortable but they can't wake her now. Her husband's heart is breaking and his strength is failing as well. So, please if you haven't had a flu shot, please get one. I think in my own mind that if she had had the shots in the past she would have had some immunity. Unbelievable, isn't it.
To the Buckeye Bloggers......I so wanted to go yesterday. Something was pulling me back and I guess it ended up being this. I hope you all had a great time and I hope to join you the next time.
God Bless.

Oh my goodness....so she has H1N1? I never even thought about that. You just don't hear much about it right now but it's funny that they didn't know what it was in the beginning. I feel so bad for you and your family and your cousin's husband. I got my flu shot back in October. As for the Ohio bloggers I could not go yesterday because I am babysitting this weekend. Maybe the next time. Take care and keep us updated.~Hugs, Patti

Debby: I hope you can feel all the prayers surrounding you and your family. When we had a family tragedy a few years ago I was simply amazed at the kindness of strangers. It was comforting to know that people we didn't even know were praying for us. I pray you find the same. Pam

Thank you all for your support and prayers. It is so comforting. I am okay. Shedding lots of tears, saying lots of prayers and bouncing around on FB with relatives and here with all of you. My husband is with me, he hasn't left my side all week-end. We are so sad but know this is God's plan. Thank you so much. I would to thank everyone individually but can't right now.

Debby there was a funeral last Sunday here in town for a very popular fellow in his 50's who had this same exact thing happen. His went into pneumonia and other complications. So sorry to hear about this prayers are with you and the family.

Thinking of you. I agree that the flu shot is VERY important and it is amazing what the virus can do. Thanks for getting the word out there.

I pray God will be there at your side and the sides of all of her immediate and extended family members to give all of you the strength you are needing from minute to minute.Thank goodness you are there. Dear Debby,
I went to bed last night thinking of Jo, saying a prayer for her, praying for her recovery... I just recovered from this flu, I was lucky... I hope that she will pull through, all the best, Maureen x
