A Spring Beach Wedding and What is going on lately

My sweet granddaughters were in their cousin's wedding in April.  I finally got some pictures.  I must admit this first one is my favorite.  It's Goose with a little SAS, hah.
This one is pretty cute as well.  Wonder what the little guy is thinking or saying to the girls.
These sisters sure have a close relationship.  Sure they argue once in awhile but they are always side by side playing.
They have different personalities but that's what makes them who they are.
They have had an incredible summer.  First this wedding in April on Sanibel Island.  Then our family trip to Hilton Head.  From there they drove back to Sanibel for my DIL's family vacation.  Then on to Key West for a few days.  They came home for about 10 days and now they are in Canada on Georgian Bay.  (Nice to have relatives that have nice vacation homes).  They will return this week-end and then pack to go to Ocean City.  My son and his wife are teachers.  This summer will be hard to top in the coming years.
Now, what's up in my little world:
I have been babysitting two beta fish, 2 hamsters and a little pond of fish for the above granddaughters.
This Nanny has been busy.  I have been babysitting like crazy.  But it is a good thing as I am saving for something WONDERFUL.
In shock as to how much a passport costs and the trouble to get on.  I have never had one before.
I am excited for Will and Kate and their new baby boy.  Can't wait to see what he looks like.
I have done a tad of vintage shopping lately.  I need to take pictures. I have spent very little money for some great things.
My kids in Colorado are all packed up and will be arriving here in about a week to unpack into their home close by.  So excited about that.
We have had a lot of rain.  3 inches in 2 hours yesterday.  There is thunder right now.  We had thunder a couple days last week and no rain.  The temps. and the rain keep this summer from being boring.
I am headed to the grocery if this thunder stops.  Senior day, hah.  I like to shop at our local grocery store.  It's small and I know where things are.  I buy the sale items for the things I want.  Everyone thinks it is more expensive but I don't like Walmart.  So with my discount I justify it.  Also the Farmers Market will be there.  It is teeny tiny compared to Saturdays but I always seem to miss that.  I want some veggies and sunflowers.
Youngest son and his freeloading roomie are stressing Mr. Cozy and I.  Our son doesn't make good decisions and it takes forever for him to understand that this "isn't our first rodeo."  He usually eventually comes to terms with what we advice but this issue has been on going.
Our weeds are so tall.....so is the corn in the corn fields all over town.
Okay, so now you can see that I have been up to "not much at all."   Stay cool and dry my friends.  Unless you are going swimming or playing in the rain.

That first picture is outstanding! But they all look darling in their wedding clothes. And my, oh my, what traveling fun you've had--and could I please join your family?

Debby, I know that you enjoy your grandchildren as much as I do. This is the first summer I have been able to help when their mom's need it. I will have the three together in a couple of weeks looking forward to it. The office is just about cleaned out. Won't take much longer, my oldest grandson has been helping. Traveling can be fun, but a little trying at times. Have a wonderful day. We had a little rain, but not much. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

Debby how adorable are your girls. Simply love love these pics.
Wow they really are having a dream summer. I am so happy for them. Wish you and I could spend some beach time your do sweet for taking care of their pets haha
I do still live in Brenham. She decided to bring her maintenance man from Nevada to Georgetown so left me kind of stuck but I am over it but truly wanted to make the move. Now I don't think I will if she changes her mind which she tends to do often.
Good catching up with you. Wish we did live closer. Love
Maggie

Your grandkids sure have had an amazing summer packed with a lot of good things. It will be a memorable summer for them for sure.

Goose looks quite the diva in the first picture.
I bet that the little ring bearer doesn't want rose petals thrown at him, lol...

We had lots of heavy rain today so I didn't get outdoors work done and I knitted a bit before going back to my afternoon barn chores.

Now the news will be all about the little royal baby boy. A good diversion from all the negative news .

Hugs

I think that kids have the most fun at weddings! They just let loose! And what a vacation they are having! They will be exhausted when school rolls around! And you've been a busy bee, too! I shop at a huge grocery store that is part of a chain in the Chicago area. No matter how odd the item is, they have it. I shopped at Walmart here by the lake a few days ago and I forgot so many things and they didn't have other items I needed. And I get seduced by their home section! lol!

Crazy weather here in Southwest Michigan. The temp is 60 degrees and the wind was crazy. There were whitecaps on the lake that were bigger than in the winter! At least I got to turn the a/c off for awhile!

XO,
Jane

So much going on. The pictures are so precious. Kids have the best times at weddings. I'm thrilled for William and Kate. Sounds like your a good animal sitter. Very exciting about the Colorado kids. Our daughter and SIL have been with us for 3 years. It is wearing very thin on us these days. It helps when we travel to have someone here for our Skye but they don't help out at all and always make horrible decision. ((HUGS))

What a summer you've been having! The children are so adorable in the wedding photos. I haven't done much travelling these past few years except to go to Florida for a couple of weeks in the winter. Some days I do miss the travel, but most days I don't. Having adult kids living at home with you can be trying sometimes. Eventually though, it usually all works out. Take it easy and enjoy the rest of the summer. Hugs, Edn B.

Darling little grands, Debby! And I love the way you "put" things - like "this isn't our first rodeo"!

Hi Debby you photos have changed you must be using a new camera. I really like these and the beach kids below. My passport I got a few years ago and it was $94. We're had family here and they just all left. Been a busy time. You have a son at home with a roomie, ugh not good huh I feel for you.

Debby.. our lives suddenly sound so similar. :) My youngest just graduated. He's 18. I broke my foot.. a misstep off the deck.. which also caused me to fracture my left toe. So.. got a lot of recovery time left.

But I have been visiting grandkids a lot this year. :)

Love the photos!
