Happy First Day Of Spring

Today is supposed to be the first day of spring.  It is freezing cold out and the wind is blowing hard.  I am staying in.  Warm weather will be coming, I'm sure of it.  Just not sure when.
Finally a doll from Pat C. of  All is Bright,  that gets to stay at my house.  She is the third doll  that I have ordered from Pat. and her name is Rosie.  Needless to say, I love her dolls.  The eyes are amazing.  Isn't she just the cutest little thing.
She is sitting on a new table runner I found at Hobby Lobby for 40% off.  The bunnies are embroidered on but could easily be painted on the canvas.  I know you sewers could do this yourself.
I updated my post yesterday saying that I was glad that I went to see my friend at the hospital yesterday.  It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.  Lots of people coming and going.  She kept telling everyone that I was "her" friend.  Since she is only 25......it is funny.  I worked with her a couple years ago.  We got along really well and have stayed friends.  Her father is in the Hospice Wing at our local hospital.  He was alert and seemed well yesterday.  But today he is in alot of pain and they think that his kidneys are failing.  I am glad that I went when I did.

GOOD NEWS.......all the swap items are in.  The rest of the packages will be mailed tomorrow.  I hope everyone enjoys everything.  I also hope that they arrive okay.  I have the envelopes packed pretty tight.  Thanks for participating.  Someone asked when the next swap would be - HAH - not for awhile.

She is very cute and I love the runner you bought. Don't you just love a great sale. I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me but I think I should stop next Tuesday after bowling and get some Easter sales.

Hi Debby, I just love your new little ragdoll! She is darling! Have you shown pix of the other two?
I'm glad you got my package - I am still sick and feel so awful. I stay mostly on the sofa, but just don't feel like doing much. The kitty hair is piling up! And the dust ... but I just don't have it in me to clean. I've been to the doc's twice and go again on Monday. I don't feel much improved yet. Stay well!!!
Hugs, Sandie XOXO

The dolls and the bunny runner are all cute.

I'm glad that you visited your friends' father when you did. I hope that he won't suffer too long. I'm sure they can give him some morphine for the pain.

I hope that you will be happy with your swap.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
JB

I am glad you got to go visit your friend's dad. I am sure it was hard, as I don't do those siuations well, but I am sure your friend was so happy you were there for her.
I too live in Ohio, Dayton, and it sure doesn't feel like spring does it? I am so ready for warmer weather and pretty flowers!!

God Bless~

Good morning :-) cold blowy and more snow here, have just done a walk with the dog. Took some pictures as the sun is out and it's really beautiful, but l'm glad to be back in and lighting the wood fire again. Your doll is really sweet, love her eyes! Love your banner too. Have been doing a little decorating for easter this morning, making a little spring inside :-). Hope you have a lovely day, Pam xx

So far our spring is very chilly too. Eleven degrees this morning. Love the eyes on your new doll.

Oh my, your new dolly is adorable! Years back, I made some cloth and ceramic dolls. Probably not as beautiful as my store bought ones, but I loved them anyway. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Beautiful runner, Debby! I love the bunnies on it. What a great doll! The eyes are wonderful. I am so tired of this cold weather. It doesn't seem like Spring is ever going to get here.
