I hate going to those places. My husband is a firefighter so he goes on calls for reasons you wouldn't believe. So, it doesn't surprise me hearing those crazy stories you heard in the waiting room! Also, have you ever watched the TV show called "Cops"? That will clue you in into some weirdo's out there too. We just shake our head in amazement. Glad you're feeling better now. Your little booties are cute. It has been cold and wet here in GA too. We had a lot of fog today as well. I don't like this time of year. Firs...Lot's of good stuff in this post, Debby! First, whenever someone mentions Downton Abbey, I want to start watching all the past seasons, too. Maybe I'll do that now that things are slow. Also, I need to look for the tea, I've had it before, just forgot about it and I'm a terrible insomniac.

I've only been to an emergency care center once, with my daughter Emily when she had the flu and didn't have a doctor (she has one now). In a nutshell, our experience was almost exactly like yours, and the place was filthy. However, I was reading an article in Dr. Oz's magazine (love him) about the popularity of these clinics and how more and more doctors are going to work for them as it's too expensive to pay for their own insurance. Anyway, Dr. Oz thinks they are great for minor problems, very inexpensive compared to an emergency room and that they are here to stay. He does say, and this I think is important, is to get a recommendation on which one to go to, one that may be affiliated with your regular doctor, or check them out online. They are all different. Unfortunately, our hospital's ER is a big trauma center and they get all the car accidents and gunshot victims from miles around. The more serious cases go first, so if you just need stitches or x-rays, you might wait hours. :(

Love your swap goodies. How fun!

Jane x

Blondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4992198341796981685.post-67830126921673443722015-01-11T08:31:43.425-08:002015-01-11T08:31:43.425-08:00First of all you certainly do not need to trick me...First of all you certainly do not need to trick me into readying your posts - I always read them and love reading them.
